Hello!
I believe every student deserves the right to success, especially in English. We all know every learner is unique and in a class of 30 plus students, it sometimes hard to get the tailored approach a child needs to thrive in KS3 or secure a desired grade in GCSE. That is where tutoring with myself can help.
With over 6 years of classroom experience, ranging from KS3 to KS5, I can offer bespoke tutoring sessions utilising a range of teaching methods grounded in current research and proven effectiveness.
I like to use a range of teaching techniques which engage and support all learners. With a love at learning, at the core of my tutoring, I'll use my knowledge of the national curriculum, GCSE framework for AQA, Eduqas and Pearson (all exam boards I'm familiar teaching) to set up every student for success.
I have a degree in English Literature, PGDE in English Teaching and a Masters in Education.
While all the technical "stuff" is important, the main thing to know about me is that I'm friendly, care about every student I teach doing well and listen to what you need to help you succeed in English.
