About Will
I have been working as an educator, in a voluntary and professional capacity, since i was about 14 years old! I am a native English speaker with experience teaching absolute beginners, Cambridge exams for English as an additional language, up to the A levels in the UK education system, and proofreading University level essays.
I am currently studying for a master's degree in Philosophy and Contemporary Critical Theory at the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy.

In my experience, learning is a highly individual process. The role of a teacher should then be a flexible one, aiming to help each student find the most appropriate and engaging path to their learning goals. Whilst standardised assessments are unavoidable in the UK education system, I make it my duty to guide each student to their own goals. I have proven to my past students and to myself that this can be done without sacrificing either the student's personality or generic academic rigour.
