My teaching approach is supportive, structured, patient, and adapted to the individual learning needs of each student. I believe that confidence and communication are key to successful language learning, and I aim to create lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and practical.
I teach English, literacy, reading, EAL/ELL, and German language support for students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. My lessons focus on developing speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and overall language confidence. I also support students with schoolwork, reading comprehension, and exam preparation where needed.
I currently work within an international school environment in Dubai, teaching English Booster/EAL across primary and secondary year groups, as well as German as a Foreign Language for secondary students. I also have extensive online teaching experience and currently teach secondary EAL students online at A2 and B1 level on a daily basis.
I hold a CELTA qualification, TEFL certification, and an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) qualification. I also have experience working one-to-one and in small groups with students with differing learning abilities and additional learning needs.
Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes depending on the student’s age and learning goals. I teach children, teenagers, and adult learners from beginner to intermediate level, particularly students who need support with English communication, literacy, reading confidence, EAL/ELL development, or beginner German.
