About Harshani
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students. As a mentor, I have successfully collaborated with students to identify their academic goals, develop action plans, and overcome any obstacles they may face along the way. I empathise with students' concerns, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable opening up about their challenges.
I came to Australia as an international student, I often draw from my own experiences to help students. I have graduated with a Bachelor of Information technology from Deakin uni and also completed a Graduate diploma of Information technology. I was awarded the membership of Golden Key International Honours Society in 2018 – A community of top 15% of high achieving students in all disciplines. I worked as a solution engineer for over 5 years in the technology industry.
Above all else, my passion for empowering students drives me every day. Seeing students overcome obstacles and achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling for me.

I help students not only on an academic level, also in a personal and a social level. I listen to their needs and and tailor my approach to best support their learning. My goal is to help students become independent learners.
I have conducted private tutoring to undergraduate students and also have worked as a writing mentor at Deakin uni helping students with their academic writing. I help with assessments, report writing, researching. In addition to helping academically, I also mentor students and help them in making informed decisions in their academic journey. Choosing majors, electives, discussing career pathways are a few other things that I help students with in addition to academic help! :)
