About Allison

I am a professional educator with a proven track record of helping students succeed. As a tutor, my goal is to inspire confidence and establish a sense of trust in my students. I understand that learning can be challenging, and my aim is to make the process as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

I have a strong academic background, including an MFA in Creative Writing, an MA in Professional Writing, and a BA in English Literature. These degrees have given me a deep understanding of the English language and the ability to communicate effectively. I have also spent three years working in journalism, honing my skills in research and written communication.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. I am committed to helping my students succeed and I strive to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on personalized attention and hands-on practice. I believe that every student learns differently, and it is important to understand and adapt to each student's learning style. My techniques include interactive lessons, real-world examples, and frequent writing assignments, quizzes, and assessments to track progress.

A typical lesson plan would begin with a review of the previous lesson, followed by an explanation of new material. Next, I will provide examples and guide the student through practice problems. Finally, we will review any remaining questions and set goals for the next lesson.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex concepts and make them easily understandable for students.
