As a tutor, I believe that math should be engaging, practical, and accessible for every student. My approach focuses on building strong foundational skills, developing problem-solving strategies, and making real-world connections to help students understand concepts deeply rather than just memorizing formulas. Teaching Methodology & Techniques Personalized Learning – I assess each student's strengths and challenges to tailor lessons to their needs. Step-by-Step Problem Solving – I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build confidence. Interactive and Practical Examples – I use real-life scenarios and visual aids to make math more relatable. Encouraging Growth Mindset – I foster a positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up – Quick review of previous concepts and a fun mental math exercise. Concept Introduction – Clear explanation of the day’s topic with visual aids and examples. Guided Practice – Step-by-step problem-solving with my support. Independent Practice – Students apply what they’ve learned with my feedback. Recap & Q&A – Summarizing key takeaways and addressing any questions. What Sets Me Apart? Real-World Applications – As a Data Analyst, I show students how math is used in careers and everyday life. Inclusive Teaching Style – With my background in youth outreach and facilitation, I create a welcoming and supportive learning space. Adaptable to Different Learning Styles – I adjust my methods to fit visual, auditory, and hands-on learners. Who Are My Lessons For? Elementary to high school students needing support in math fundamentals or advanced topics. Students preparing for standardized tests or entry exams. Anyone looking to build confidence and improve their problem-solving skills
