About Sarah
Hello! I am Dr. Sarah! I have been in education since before I was born--both of my parents were teachers and I followedtheir footsteps. My main focus has been teaching and learning music, but I also work with learners on improving their written communication, through creative writing, technical writing, and essay writing. Written communication is very important and I want to help YOU become the best writer that you can! I am approachable and lead with a laugh and kindness. You can expect to learn concrete tools in every lesson, but also develop your writing style. For the youngest learners, we will have fun practicing our writing skills by writing about things that make us happy!
I always am honored to work with learners from all backgrounds as it is an opportunity for me to continue learning as well, so let's learn together!

As a 20 year veteran in education, I know then importance of getting to know each student. Each lesson will include a personal check-in, questions for the session, sharing of ideas, and, depending on the needs of the student, practice writing. For graduate level students, the focus will be on technical writing, proofreading tips, research skills. For middle to high school students, the focus will be on essay writing including creating a thesis, a paragraph body, and writing style (opinion, research, historical, argument). For younger learners, we will work on sentence structure and spelling.
