About Maidul
I am a third-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Calgary, Alberta. I hold a Master's in Economics with a CGPA 4.0 out of 4.0 from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, USA. I also hold a post-baccalaureate certificate in Applied Statistics from the University of South Carolina. I have about four years of university teaching experience. I have been working as an instructor in the Economics Department at the University of Calgary since 2023. Besides, I taught many undergraduate students of the University of Calgary and University of South Carolina at the capacity of a Teaching Assistant. I also have nine years of research experience in the area of Economics at the Central Bank of Bangladesh. With years of experience as an instructor and a researcher, I am capable of turning complicated ideas of economics into lucid issues. Moreover, my teaching style connects theories of economics to the real world examples which makes the learning of economics comprehensive and fun. As a result, my students are not only successful in improving their grades but also prosper in professional life with effective application of economics.
