About Guillermo
I have taught at three universities in the US and three universities in Spain. I earned my PhD in the field of Differential Equations and have been doing advanced research in the field since 2000. My education is hybrid in Math and Physics.
I can teach both in Spanish and English.

In my experience, often students spend much time working on individual problems but do not stop to reflect on the big picture. They do not see the forest for the trees. This is a consequence of poorly qualified teachers during elementary, middle and high school.
My success is based on explaining the subject broadly, using good examples as motivation . When working on a problem with the student, I provide high-level clues, bring similar examples, connect with other subjects. For example, a problem in Algebra can have a simple geometric interpretation and vice versa.
I can help students of all levels, from HS to advanced College students.
