About Shaira
Hello! My name is Shai, and I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with over eight years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of different ages and backgrounds, including kindergarten students, ESL learners, business professionals, and college students.
I currently have extensive experience teaching English, communication, research, and education-related subjects at the college level. In addition, my background as a Business English trainer has allowed me to help professionals improve their communication skills in academic and workplace settings.
I am committed to creating a supportive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and encouraging. I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging, interactive, and connected to real-life situations. Rather than focusing solely on memorization, I help learners understand concepts clearly and apply them with confidence.
In my lessons, I first assess the student's current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. As a college instructor and former Business English trainer, I understand how to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs and proficiency levels.
