About Weibin
I come from a communications background and worked in both Beijing and Shanghai for over ten years, in an agency setting. I studied in Beijing, England, Belgium and Poland, and I have traveled to over 50 countries. I have been doing freelance work in the past couple of years, in the areas of communications, market research and marketing. I have done volunteer work in a number of countries, mainly in farming, tourism and hospitality.

I have taught Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese for over one year, and worked with both teenage and adult students. I would have a 20-minute free consultation to start the discussion, during which I would identify your issues and goals, and discuss a plan with you for customized lesson and learning materials. I welcome intermediate level students, and advanced students who have a specific goal in mind, for example going to study in China for a degree or to travel to China on business trips. A typical lesson would be 45 minutes, about 2 minutes as warm-up, then 40 minutes to go through a topic, with listening and reading materials, or to allow for speaking as much as possible, then 3 minutes to wrap up and look ahead to the next session.
