About Ray
My name is Ray and I’m a marine biologist with a passion for art. I have been practicing ceramics and sculpting for over 10 years. I also enjoy working with watercolors, acrylic paint, and drawing. I have a background and training in oil painting as well. The biggest inspiration for my art is nature, more specifically the ocean and marine life.

I’m easy going, fun to talk to, will encourage you throughout the process, and guide you as you navigate your artistic journey! :)
I teach all ages and practice levels, online and in person. My lessons have a structure for guidance and inspiration, but I also love to allow students to pursue what inspires them. I’m well familiar with the artistic flow, and also have experience teaching neurodivergent students.
