About Kevin
I am recently retired after many years in management, having worked in South Africa and a number of East African countries. Having recently completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course with a UK institution, I now want to start sharing my experience and abilities with students looking to improve their command of the English language in listening, reading, speaking and writing.

I teach using a contextual approach, which means learning the language using relevant topics and techniques, rather than just speech drills. I first spend time with my students discussing what their objectives are for learning English and work with them to set goals and plan a path to their final objective. Along the way we will have fun in the learning process, without losing sight of where we are going.
