About Amanda
I am a graduate in fine arts with a qualification to teach English to foreigners. I have been teaching for over 7 years now both in Italy and Australia. I love languages and speak Italian fluently. My home is Australia, however I have lived many years of my life in Italy. I am a musician, artist, traveler, passionate about health and fitness and very curious being.

My teaching method is to incorporate materials that interest the student. I like to use recent articles, talks, movies, songs or documentaries to stimulate the student. I like to get students talking a lot and not just completing exercises in a workbook. Grammar and learning new chunks of vocabulary are crucial to every lesson but I aim to do it in an interesting entertaining way. I incorporate reading, writing, listening and speaking into every lesson if times permits.
