About Samah
Samah Gabrail. I fluently speak, read, and write Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic and Iraqi Dialect) and English. Also, I fluently speak Neo-Aramaic language. I have a masters degree in Psychology with concentration in General Psychology. I have huge interest in tutoring and teaching the Arabic language. I enjoy tutoring because I feel that I am participating in the success of students by passing their courses with excellent grades, improving their study skills, and reaching their academic goals.
I worked as a Foreign Language Lab Aide (Modern Standard Arabic) at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan in the United States for 1 year and 7 months. During that time, I conducted tutoring sessions for two Arabic levels: Pre-Arabic for Non-Native Speakers and Elementary Arabic 1. I provided one-on-one and group tutoring sessions. I helped students achieve remarkable results by passing their Modern Standard Arabic quizzes, exams, writing assignments, and PowerPoint presentations with great scores. I tutored students from different ethnicity, ages, nationalities, and cultures. Also, I have been providing tutoring sessions online through different tutoring sites.

My teaching methodology is based on creating lessons that contain tailored, critical, and necessary information needed to help students learn how to speak, read, and write Arabic, in addition to learning the culture of the Middle East. Also, my teaching strategy includes providing students with many and different resources (online articles, websites, videos, audio, etc.), that can help students in mastering Arabic in a timely manner.

Samah is one of the best Arabic tutors I have worked with before. His tutoring and teaching style is very detailed and straightforward. I like his usage of different resources to explain the language. I highly recommend Samah to anyone who's interested in learning Arabic.
Samah is a very trustworthy teacher, and has lots of knowledge, he explains the material in a very good way step by step and make sure that you understand the lessons one hundred percent.
The reason why I think Samah is a trustworthy teacher is because he's detailed-oriented and precise with the way he teaches. He asks questions to determine the level of students in speaking, reading, and writing the Arabic language before he starts teaching them the new language. Also, Samah uses a diverse teaching style that consists of providing students with many examples, different resources, a lot of conversations using mainly the Arabic language, PowerPoint presentations, PDF files, etc. I highly recommend Samah to other Superprof members because he's a native speaker of Modern Standard Arabic and the Iraqi dialect as well, which will make it easier on students to learn Arabic in a short amount of time.
