After completing my training at POWERVOICE Academy near Hamburg, I spent seven years running a successful music school in Berlin. I worked with students of all ages and across a wide range of genres, from musical theater to pop/rock, and even metal. I tailor my teaching approach to everyone's current ability level, working with beginners as well as full-time professional musicians. POWERVOICE Academy is one of Germany's leading schools for pop and rock vocals. Their program for prospective vocal coaches includes tuition in teaching songwriting alongside vocal techniques needed for modern music, including those required for safe and sustainable metal vocals. The course is also accompanied by a licensed speech and language therapist to cover all anatomical and physiological aspects of singing and sound production to guarantee great vocal health. I use a holistic approach in my teaching practice with students of all ages and abilities, including elements from both my background in musical theater and the techniques taught by POWERVOICE as they benefit each individual student. Many of my students have moved on to be professional singers or to compete on national television.
