About Silas
I have been teaching for 14 years and have taught (and lead) all year groups in KS2. I have a great understanding of how children learn and combine this with ensuring that lessons are pitched and taught at a pace and level which is engaging and supportive.
I believe that learning should be fun, relevant and rewarding and therefore I make sure that lessons help give students greater understanding and confidence.
I have lots of experience teaching to a wide range of students and understand that every pupil is unique and do what I can to ensure that students progress.

I've taught across all year groups in KS2 including multiple years teaching in Year 6 for SATs. I have a great understanding of next steps, how to support students to gain understanding and confidence with their learning. I like making learning engaging, relevant and accessible. It's all about helping YOU to get it and make progress.
