About Steven
I am a 29 year-old PhD graduate in computational chemistry from Imperial College London, following achieving a first in my MSci in chemistry at UCL. After many years of studying chemistry, I have developed a deep passion for the subject that I am eager to pass on to others. I have over 200 hours of tutoring experience gained over more than three years, teaching students from A Level to Key Stage 3. This experience has taught me how to adapt my teaching to a wide range of learning styles, and my pupils have consistently achieved results 1 or 2 grades above their targets.
I offer flexible and engaging tutoring sessions tailored to meet individual learning requirements. I aim to go beyond the syllabus by providing contextual information to help highlight the relevance and importance of the topics covered. During my PhD, I worked part-time as a graduate teaching assistant, supporting undergraduate students in labs and helping them build their confidence and skills.
