About Jamie
I’ve been tutoring Accounting for the past 4 years, mostly to Grade 12 learners. I wasn’t always a top achiever – I used to be a very average student. In fact, I originally got 68% for Accounting before rewriting and bumping that up to 91%. I went from one distinction to five, not by memorizing, but by understanding. That experience shapes how I teach today.

I'm not here to confuse students with big words, but to break things down in a way that actually makes sense.
My approach is relaxed, practical, and tailored to each learner. I adapt my lessons to suit the student’s pace and learning style, using relatable examples and small wins to build confidence. I also love working straight out of past papers — I’ve found that this is what truly helps boost marks. It helps students see patterns, apply what they've learned, and walk into tests feeling more prepared.
