About Iyanu
I am a passionate tutor that hopes to propel students to academic success by teaching them in an engaging, efficient and interactive way. I grew up in a low-income area with schools with not many resources and saw first-hand how that can affect the quality of education students receive. This school contrasted greatly to the grammar school I later attended which consisted of far wealthier students, a well-resourced school board and overall better quality education. I am grateful for my educational experiences at that school as I love to learn but know such a high quality school is not available to all students. Thus, I would like to tutor to help increase access to better quality education as this has the ability to change the trajectory of a student's life and also create better well-informed citizens of the world. I enjoy helping students progress from little or no knowledge on a subject area to feeing confident enough to teach it to others and believe every student has a unique learning style that when understood by the tutor can unlock their potential.
