I feel every student should be given the tools to unlock their full potential and quite often confidence is a key barrier to examination performance. I try to instil confidence and belief in all my students and address any particular challenges they are having with compassion and respect.

Lessons are focused around the individual student and their personal needs. Typically we will begin with a quick chat to help the student feel calm and comfortable and to address any worries they might have. During our first lesson, we take time to go through a list of topics and mark them green, orange or red (according to how hard they find them). This gives me a good starting point to base our lessons on. Lessons typically last 50 minutes. I have a wealth of experience working with students with additional difficulties such as anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD etc. and am happy to tailor lessons to specific needs. I graduated from Queen's University in 2019 with First Class Honours in English Language and Literature before returning to complete my Master's in Psychology, which I graduated from in December 2021 with Distinction. I can provide tuition in both English (language and literature) and Maths up to GCSE level. I also can provide English, Maths and Science tuition for primary school pupils.
