About Nazia
I am a dual domain specialist with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and the background in Computer Science holds the Diploma of Higher Education in Computer Science (DipHE) from University of London, currently advancing my technical expertise by pursuing BSc (Honours) Computing and IT Practice from the Open University.
I have over decade of experience of teaching specialisation in Python, JavaScript, and Scratch, blending formal pedagogy with creative project-based learning. Since I stay in tune with where each individual is at, I can pivot our projects to match their unique interests and skill levels. I’m always happy to go over a concept as many times as needed until it truly makes sense.
My background as a healthcare professional helped me develop soft skills such as identifying the difficulties students may be experiencing and tackling them with patience and understanding, helping me to deal with students from a variety of backgrounds. I also have experience dealing with SEN students, with conditions such as autism and ADHD, and have experience working in a structured way that lets them also learn alongside other students.
Beyond the classroom, I am also a skilled Web Developer proficient in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Git version control.

I have a Diploma of Higher Education in Computer Science from University of London and currently pursuing BSc (Honours) in Computing and IT Practice.
As an energetic and supportive educator, who specialises in demystifying complex concepts that could otherwise feel intimidating and turning them into something fun. I make it a priority to really listen and observe where each student may be struggling so we can slow down or speed up to a pace that fits them, not a "one size fits all" timeline.
For me, finishing the lesson is not a goal, but making sure students understand and are able to implement programming concepts themselves is.
