A great curriculum plan must align with the academic calendar to ensure that you are peak-ready by board exams.
**Phase 1: Foundation & Literature Grounding**
*April – August*
Complete the core text reading of both textbooks (Flamingo and Vistas). Focus on deep comprehension, word meanings, and chapter-end questions. Introduce short-writing formats alongside.
**Phase 2: Advanced Writing & Rigor**
*September – October*
Shift focus to long writing tasks (Articles, Reports, Formal Letters) and intensive Reading Comprehension drills. Introduce weekly timed writing assignments.
**Phase 3: The Art of Assessment**
*November – December*
Syllabus completion and the start of Pre-Board examinations. Transition from standalone chapter tests to mixed-bag question banks and extracting value from CBSE marking schemes.
**Phase 4: Sample Paper Marathons**
*January – February*
Strictly timed 3-hour sample papers. Focus heavily on time management (e.g., spending no more than 50 minutes on Section A, 40 minutes on Section B, and 90 minutes on Section C, leaving 20 minutes for revisions
