About Celeste
My passion for Excel began when I realized how powerful spreadsheets can be in simplifying complex tasks and supporting better decision making. I earned a B.Sc in Management Information Systems, where I studied data organization, reporting tools, and modern business analytics. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped learners develop strong Excel confidence through patient guidance and structured practice.
I believe Excel should be taught through real application rather than memorization. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanation, repeated practice, and helping students understand why each tool is useful. I enjoy supporting learners who feel intimidated by spreadsheets, showing them that Excel becomes manageable with structure and encouragement. Students often gain confidence quickly once they understand the logic behind functions.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with Excel through data projects, productivity systems, and continual exploration of analytical tools. Teaching Excel is rewarding because students often see immediate improvement in their academic and professional work. Supporting learners as they gain independence with data and organization is one of the most meaningful parts of my teaching journey.

Excel becomes an essential skill when students realize it is not just a spreadsheet tool, but a powerful system for organizing information, analyzing data, and making smarter decisions. In my lessons, I guide learners through formulas, functions, formatting, charts, and professional spreadsheet workflows with clear and supportive teaching. I focus on helping students feel comfortable using Excel in academic projects, workplace reporting, and everyday productivity tasks.
Lessons are structured according to the learner’s experience level. Beginners learn navigation, clean table design, simple calculations, and basic organization habits. Intermediate learners build confidence in functions such as IF statements, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, conditional formatting, and data validation. Advanced students explore pivot tables, dashboards, automation tools, and business-style reporting that supports professional growth. Every lesson includes hands-on practice tasks and step-by-step correction.
Excel lessons also help students develop analytical thinking and efficiency. Many learners feel empowered when they can manage data independently and present information clearly.
