About Rachel
I am both a qualified teacher and a qualified accountant (CIMA). I have taught on a one to one basis and in the classroom. My teaching experience is in the Further Education Sector where I taught, part time, for over 15 years. Before that I was a management accountant in industry for nearly 20 years.
My teaching style tends to be relaxed because I like to come to lessons well organised and well prepared. I will spend some time assessing the needs of any student and making sure that we have a plan which can guide us and help us measure progress. Obviously this will not be set in stone and we can adapt it to suit.
I will try and make lessons fun - may be difficult if you want help with accounting! The aim is to build up your confidence and I will certainly promise to do that.
