About Griffin
"First sessions are for setting clear objectives. We review your current level. I assess your writing skills and listening comprehension.
We will dive into IELTS or TOEFL preparation immediately. My MA Applied Linguistics degree supports every correction I provide. I offer free access to my vocabulary notes for all my students. You can practice everyday conversation with me in a supportive space.
We will build your academic writing style together. My focus remains on clear results for adult learners. Are you ready to start today?"

"Teaching began for me when I realized that language acts as the primary barrier to social and professional integration. I sat in a classroom 15 years ago and realized that grammar alone does not equate to effective communication. My MA Applied Linguistics from Macquarie and CELTA training provided the tools to change this. I focus on accent softening, speaking confidence, and academic writing.
My personal narrative as a native Spanish speaker allows me to relate to the challenges of learning a new tongue. I find joy in helping students refine their pronunciation and idioms. I love seeing the moment when language clicks for a busy professional."
