I have many years of experience in learning and teaching English both in academic and casual environments. Having taken English proficiency tests myself I know how stressful these can be and that the most important thing is to inspire confidence in you. My teaching approach is always to treat you as a collaborator - it's you and me against the problem, not me against you.

As a person who learnt English as a second language and then lived in Scotland for years I understand what you need to transition from rudimentary to proficient English user.
