About Gabriella
A 2:1 BA Hons American History and Literature Graduate from the University of Nottingham with transferable skills in written and spoken communication, analysis, and research. I love teaching and studying English as it encourages us to use our imagination, teaches us essential social and language skills, reading and writing, and how to communicate effectively. It is also a chance to be super creative!
I have tutored in Thailand with students from various local schools, teaching the English language with one on one sessions and group sessions. I also received a 30-Hour Teaching Young Learners Course issued by TEFL. More recently, I have gained experience as a reading volunteer where I was able to support local schools and encourage students to gain the essential skills needed for reading. I have also been an online tutor for the last three months specialising in English and History GCSE.
My aim is to provide motivating and inspiring lessons, extending your understanding in English whilst building your confidence. I will be able to help and support you to achieve your best!

Some of my tips: Write useful facts on sticky notes and put them where they are easily seen such as the bathroom mirror or the fridge. It is also crucial to change your environment every so often, why not voice record some facts and play them when going for a walk in the fresh air to re-energise yourself!
