About James
I'm a professional trumpeter, pianist, and composer, recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I've performed in a wide range of settings - from jazz gigs and classical concerts to film and theatre projects - including performances at the Royal Albert Hall, and appearing on a Netflix Agatha Christie murder mystery series. Alongside trumpet, I've played piano for many years and love teaching it as a creative and expressive instrument. My background in jazz and composition allows me to bring a fresh, musical approach to piano playing - combining good technique with creativity, listening, and enjoyment. I'm passionate about helping students grow in confidence and develop a genuine love for music, whatever their age or level.
