About Nicole
I am an A-level student currently studying English literature, Spanish and History and I am predicted As in these subjects. My passion for tutoring definitely comes from how I was taught at school. I struggled with how my lessons were taught but once I found a tutor who was able to engage with me, I was able to excel. This is something I want to help others with.

My main speciality is English and I have been preparing people for their GCSE’s. As well as academic tutoring I help my students build up their confidence by giving constructive criticism and thought provoking tasks. This way the lesson is not just me talking, the student is engaging with what they’re being taught. My main approach is to break down books and topics into themes and characters. This way tackling a book is less daunting and the student can understand difficult concepts better. I usually like to focus on one or two themes/characters per lesson depending on their ability so the student can gain a deeper understanding.
