About Chabli
Originally from Tennessee, my first experience with Latin was in high school. Through my wonderful experience, I grew a respect and love of Latin that I seek to bring to all of my students. At university, my Classics' professors were some of the best in the country, engendering in me a desire to teach Latin. Next year will be my 15th year teaching a full schedule to multiple Latin levels (including one online course I created), and I could not be more thrilled.

I love teaching and language and have taught Latin for 14 years to students from a variety of backgrounds. In my regular courses, students read extensively, hear and speak Latin to enhance acquisition, and practice grammar through a variety of games and exercises. I have taught from every major Latin textbook, as well as authentic texts commonly used in upper-level courses including AP.
English is also a passion of mine and my secondary teaching certification. Ergo, I am more than happy to tutor students in English, reading, and writing as well.
My goal is for you to find success, and we will work together, just like I do in my regular classes, to find what works for you to achieve your goals.
