About Nia
Hi, I'm Nia and I have recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a master's in maths. I have been tutoring for the last seven years in North London and Edinburgh, and have worked with a wide range of students from primary school to A-Level. All of my tutees have went on to receive at least an A (or equivalent), with 80% of them achieving A*s.

Everyone can be great at maths! Maths can be a challenging subject for many, but with the right guidance and support, any student can excel. As a tutor, my goal is to help you build confidence and develop a deep understanding of the subject.
My tutoring is not just about getting good grades (but do not worry, you will get those also). By making the subject engaging and relevant, you will develop a love of learning and a passion for math.
I am aware of the prevalence of math anxiety and how it can negatively impact a student's performance. I believe that a key factor in overcoming math anxiety is building a strong foundation of understanding and confidence. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces and providing ample opportunities for practice and review, I help students build the skills and confidence they need to tackle challenging problems with ease.
Overall, I strive to make every tutoring session a positive and enjoyable experience, one that inspires students to pursue their mathematical goals and overcome any obstacles in their way.
