About Kirsty
I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for the past year, mainly in Spain but then via Zoom due to the pandemic. I have experience of teaching all ages but have spent most of my time teaching students at Secondary/High School level. My work has mainly been as a language assistant, helping with conversational skills and helping with oral expression. I also spent a bit of time teaching adults who wanted to improve their fluency, so I have a range of experience I can apply!

I prefer my classes to be student led, so the student can tell me what they want to talk about or specific areas that they are working on/want to improve. Together we will then create a plan of what we will work on. During these lessons I will be able to assess the students strengths and weaknesses and we can continue to work from there.
My preference is for conversational lessons as I find these to be the most effective way to teach and help the language stick. I'm really quite adaptable when it comes to my teaching methods so can work around individual needs.
