About Cianan
Hi there! I'm a confident, enthusiastic, and friendly GCSE tutor specialising in Maths, Economics, and Science. I have over two years of experience tutoring both online and in-person with experience across multiple big exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR).
My sessions are flexible and built around your schedule. Whether it's weekdays or weekends, I aim to make learning as convenient and effective as possible.
I have a strong educational background, having attending grammar school and achieving top grades in my GCSEs and A-levels with an Additional Maths Qualification and Diploma Level LAMDA qualification.
Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Acting, I'm a great communicator, both calm and empathetic in my tutoring style. Above all, I pride myself on being engaging for my students - there's nothing worse than a boring tutor!

With more than two years of personal tutoring experience, I have explored a wide range of learning websites and resources, enabling me to provide an effective and tailored learning experience for each of my students. As such, my teaching style isn’t about regurgitation and repetition, it's about creating an interactive, engaging, and fun approach to Maths, Science, and Economics.
I offer a complimentary first session for every student, during which I assess key areas for improvement. From there, I collaborate with the student to develop a personalised and goal-oriented plan from which we can both work to strengthen core areas and rocket towards success. Above all, I prioritise building confidence — the confidence to ask questions, explore new approaches, and embrace mistakes.

Cianan is an amazing and patient tutor and has helped not only me but also my children in helping understand complex topics which he does with such ease and assurance. He is also very calm and well spoken so not only do my children understand him well but also feel safe enough to ask questions and look for guidance and when struggling do not feel self conscious which helps them stay calm.
