About Ella
As I've taken and excelled in Algebra 1 and 2 in the last few years, I've watched where most students start to fall behind in understanding. In this way, I can relate to any student struggling in math whether it's a general lack of understanding or confidence in their skills. I have taken on math tutoring roles for middle and high schoolers before; not only are the lessons dry of tears but they leave the struggling student with new understanding and confidence in their abilities. Through patience and a firm grasp on what exact gaps will need to be filled, I can make learning math much less daunting.

Through an introduction to mathematical concepts then applying those to practice problems, their learning will mirror the work needed to pass exams and tests. I'll follow the specific course standard (AP, state tests, honors). I can work with middle to high school students struggling with Algebra 1 and 2 who either want to improve their grade or gain more confidence in their understanding of math.
