About Elizabeth
I enjoy teaching children to read. I have always enjoyed the aspects of language since I was a child, even teaching my younger cousins to read. I also taught my first daughter to read at the age of 3. I am an Speech Language Pathologists Assistant (SLPA) working on teaching speech and language therapy to a variety of children.
I have a love of learning and am looking to share this love with children who need inspiration. I truly believe once you find your path in learning it opens the doors to every other subject.
As my mother always says, "If you can read, you can learn anything!"

I have found that language and reading activities are extremely satisfying for me personally as a teacher and therapist. I have worked with ages 3-20; as well as neurotypical and neuro-divergent individuals. I have worked with children with Autism and Down Syndrome as well as language delays and disorders.
I would like to work with ages 5-15 to practice reading and comprehension of any level.
I would always build rapport with students and try to use materials that are preferred (topic) or needed academically.
