Hello, I'm Michael — a language nerd and professional wordsmith ready to help you take your English skills to the next level.
For more than 10 years I've been writing copy by day and teaching private English lessons at night (but also sometimes during the day). I love the English language and thrive on inspiring others to find their voice in this beautiful (and maddeningly complex) language.
Communication is an important form of creative human expression. I've been taking weekly lessons with Michael for seven months now, and he is an amazing, thoughtful teacher. I wanted to write in my journal every day in English as a way to practice during the quarantine, so Michael works with me to put together thoughts using new vocabulary, make sure my sentences are well-structured, and help me to express myself in English as well as my native German (almost!). His kindness and knowledge are inspiring.
I studied English with Michael for two years, and I looked forward to every lesson!
