About Juliana
I'm Juliana, I'm 24 years old and I study Environmental Science at the Federal University of Fluminense (UFF). I currently live in the US for almost 2 years and English is part of my daily life, I speak English for 80% of my day. I studied English for 6 years while in Brazil and then applied for an exchange program in the US since so i'm out of the country.I used to teach online to some of my brazilian friends with basic and daily conversations and according to their needs and wishes.
At the beginning of my journey with English I felt very pressured to study and so I didn't succeed until I found a more fun way to practice and learn. Over time I felt more confident and managed to unlock my conversation with friends, and making friends from other countries motivated me to improve my English even more. Finding motivation is undoubtedly important, as well as being comfortable, having fun and trust in your potential.
I believe in you and I will be here to support you, in addition to a class, it will be an exchange of experiences for your growth.

I'm offering English classes because I would love to help you understand this language that seems challenging, but once you learn it you fall in love. I studied Ingés for years and at first I hated it until I saw its usefulness, especially when I traveled and needed to communicate with friends. Focus will be on your conversation, unlocking your English and making you feel comfortable.
My classes are quiet conversations. I'll create a custom class for you, based on your interests.

Ótima aula!I really enjoyed my class with Juliana. She is very patient and lovely. Her experiences and stories made the lessons fun. I'm working on my speaking skills and basically having someone open to listen to me and correct me, also making me feel comfortable, that's what I need. Even though she is young she is very mature and responsible. Go schedule your class with her, but make sure to leave some spots for me.
Learning with Juliana is easy and very fun! I don’t feel myself pressed to Learn, she makes things seem easier. During our classes we have spontaneous conversations about our days and activities. I completely recommend her classes and her way to teach Portuguese.
