About Brooke
I've been an avid reader and writer since I was a kid---it does make sense, as my mother is an author. I also spend a lot of my free time researching grammar and vocabulary, as I am currently working on a novel. My specialty, though, has always been explaining. I tend to explain things differently from a typical teacher, and it can make a huge difference for students who are simply stuck!

Tutoring---I am very proficient in grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension! I excel in explaining things in different ways, so I definitely won't give up after the first try. No two students are the same! I can help with worksheets, essays, and assigned readings. I can also read the assigned reading before the lesson and help more with in depth analysis for an additional hour of payment.
Creative writing---here's the fun stuff! I myself am currently writing a novel, so all the tools and tricks are fresh in my mind, and I'd love to go over your work. I can go over it and send you my recommended edits, or go over each edit with you in person/on a call.
