About Sloane
With 4 years of experience, I specialize in teaching English to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 150 students on their language learning journeys. I believe that every student has unique strengths and challenges, and I am dedicated to tailoring my lessons to meet their individual needs. My goal is to help students improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills while building confidence in using English in everyday life. My tutoring approach is centered around clear communication, patience, and real-life examples that make learning practical and engaging. I focus on helping students develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking through discussions and case studies. By creating a supportive and flexible learning environment, I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and express themselves freely, which fosters a deeper understanding of the language. One of my unique skills is blending traditional teaching methods with modern techniques, such as using multimedia resources and interactive exercises. This combination keeps lessons fresh and interesting while addressing different learning styles. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and take pride in seeing their progress, whether it’s improving exam scores or gaining confidence in everyday conversations.

My teaching methodology for English is based on Real-life examples and case studies, Integrity, Flexibility, Problem-solving, and Compassion. I believe using real-life examples helps students understand how English is used in everyday situations, making lessons practical and meaningful. I approach teaching with honesty and integrity, creating a trustworthy environment where students feel safe to express themselves and make mistakes as part of learning.
Flexibility is key in my lessons. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s needs, learning pace, and interests. This personalized approach keeps students motivated and engaged. When challenges arise, I encourage problem-solving by helping students think critically and find effective solutions, which strengthens their language skills and confidence.
Compassion is at the heart of my teaching. I understand that learning a language can be difficult, so I offer patient and supportive guidance. Besides English, I also teach related subjects like writing, reading comprehension, and vocabulary development. My goal is to build strong language skills while fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment that inspires students to reach their full potential.
