About
My name is Gemini Sim and I have been tutoring since September 2017. I am a kind and patient tutor who strives to encourage students with their studies of English with an aim to build confidence, understanding and passion for the subject. I have always excelled in English as an avid reader and (hopefully) aspiring writer! However my true love is helping others as I'm hoping to pursue teacher training in the future.
I would be happy to travel to a client’s home or conduct interactive lessons online to help a student who requires extra guidance with their English work, or perhaps someone who just wants a little boost. I am able to provide and analyse questions from past exam papers, create enjoyable activities, help with reading more of the difficult texts and aid a student with effective revision methods, notes and diagrams in order to help a young person pass and excel in their exams.
I have high GCSE and A level qualifications and teaching is has always been a potential career path for me. I hope to begin a teaching course at the University of Greenwich after gaining valuable experience with this site. I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual and I am looking forward to starting my this site journey asap. I hope to continue this fun and rewarding vocation for a long time. I have recently started a CPD certified online SEN course with the hope to become a specialised teaching assistant.
I am located in Eltham, South East London and I am 25 years old. Willing to travel up to 4 miles. Thank you so much for considering me as a tutor.
