About Charlie
I achieved a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's University in Sociology and Criminology with a minor in Religious Studies. Also, I am near completion of a Certificate in Business Management from Dalhousie which consists of courses like accounting/business law/finance/organizational behavior/strategic management.
For the last 10+ years, I have had the distinct pleasure of working and helping students from across the globe. Such experiences helped me learn so much about the norms and values of various cultures. Moreover, it has taught me that there is NO one way to work with a student because each one is unique and learns differently. In any given semester, I have worked with up to 15-20 students because I am able to teach at the highest level when working with a small number. Because of my love to teach and help students, I have seen them not only improve their grades but also become more adapted to their new environment.

I strive to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for my students. From the MANY years, I have worked with students, I have learned that the closer the relationship between a tutor and a student, the stronger the results. I spend time listening to my student so I can learn about their strengths and weaknesses so I could customize a study plan that is suitable for them. In addition, I ask students for feedback and what I can do better to help them better understand the material. I firmly believe that ALL students have the potential to improve and grow.
