About Ananya
I’m a 16-year-old student currently studying A-Level English Literature, and I have always had a strong interest in reading, writing, and exploring ideas through English. I enjoy helping others understand concepts and find confidence in their own abilities, which is what inspired me to start teaching.
Having gone through both the 7+ and 11+ processes myself, I understand the importance of having the right guidance and encouragement at a young age. I want to help students not only improve academically, but also develop a genuine enjoyment and appreciation for English.
I find it really rewarding to see children make progress, overcome challenges, and become more confident learners.

Hi! I'm a 16-year-old student offering English tutoring for children up to the age of 13. I teach online and also offer in-person lessons for families based locally in W3.
I am currently studying A-Level English and am predicted a Grade 9 in GCSE English Language and Literature. Having successfully completed both the 7+ and 11+ entrance exams myself, I understand the skills and confidence needed to help younger students succeed.
I have experience volunteering with children aged 4–8, which has helped me develop a patient, supportive, and adaptable teaching style. I focus on making lessons engaging and enjoyable while helping students strengthen their reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, and creative skills.
My aim is to build both ability and confidence, creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making progress, and developing a genuine enjoyment of English.
