About Amy-Rose
I have always had a passion for English, starting when I was only a little girl and would spend hours reading. I studied my English degree in 2009 and this is where my love for Creative Writing began which led me to write my own stories and poetry which I still enjoy doing in my free time to this day.
I went on to do my PGCE teaching English in 2012 as I wanted to be able to help others to gain confidence and find enjoyment in a subject so very important to me.
I began teaching SEN students in a local college whilst doing my training which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have since had two children of my own who I love to read to and being a tutor definitely comes in handy with their homework!
I have worked in many schools with many different ages as a tutor/assistant and 1:1.
English has always and will always be a huge part of my life.

As a tutor I recognise that everyone is unique and therefore has their own, individual way of learning that suits them best.
I take my time to get to know each student to find out not only what they are aiming to achieve/learn but which pace will suit their needs best whether that be 20 minutes to an hour +.
The most important thing is the student and their needs and I believe time has no limit when it comes to learning.
