About Ralph
I am an ESL teacher with over 20 years experience teaching classes of 10 to 25 people from the age of 12 to adult. Most of my teaching has involved reading comprehension, essay writing and test preparation. Many of my students achieve A grades.

I will help you gain the reading and writing skills you need to do well on the SAT, IELTS or TOEFL exams. I am more of a facilitator or coach than lecturer as I aid you in finding the information you need to complete a task. I use a Socratic approach asking questions to understand what you know and need to know in order to give you the guidance and skills you need. You will complete your work by communicating with others, using critical thinking skills, by being creative and collaborating with others.
