About Ben
Hello! I'm an English teacher with over 16 years of experience teaching students of different ages, levels, and goals. My background includes two years teaching in Japan and 14 years in Colombia, which has allowed me to work with people from diverse cultures and learning styles.
Throughout my career, I've helped students improve their conversational skills, gain confidence speaking, prepare for interviews and English exams (like IELTS), travel more confidently, and achieve personal and professional language-related goals.
I'm passionate about teaching in a practical, clear, and personalized way. I believe that learning a language should be a dynamic, useful, and motivating experience, not a boring process based solely on theory and memorization.
One of my strengths is my ability to adapt each class to the real needs of each individual. Not everyone learns the same way, so I design personalized sessions to help you progress effectively and at your own pace. I can teach both American and British English, adapting the approach to your specific goals, interests, or needs.
Throughout my life, I've spent over 20 years traveling, living, and working abroad, visiting more than 15 countries. This experience has allowed me to develop a broad cultural perspective, which I also incorporate into my classes. I'm also a YouTube content creator (with a focus on travel and wellness), which brings a clear, dynamic, and approachable communication style.

My methodology is based on active communication. From the very beginning, we work on speaking, listening, and thinking in English, moving away from excessive memorization and focusing on real-life situations you'll encounter in your daily life, studies, or work. Each class is different and tailored to your needs.
We can work on:
