About Amy
I have been teaching English for three years: one year in Bilbao, one year in Bristol, six months in Cantabria and six months in Portugal. I have experience giving private classes for students from 2 years old to adults, and group classes in primary and secondary school.

I think that the most important thing is developing confidence when speaking another language. I believe that when the students feels like they know English and that they can speak English, then learning becomes a lot easier. For this reason I like to focus my classes on speaking and listening. I also teach writing, reading, grammar and vocabulary.
As a learner of languages myself (I can speak Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan), I know what the challenges are and I think that gives me a unique perspective and means that I can relate to the students and I have the ability to tailor classes to my student's needs.
