About Jeff
As stated earlier, I have 23 years of classroom experience. Five of those were as a middle school teacher and the other seventeen were at the high school level. I have a B.A. in English from a top university and an M.A. in Writing & Rhetoric from a small but competitive liberal arts college. I also coached youth sports for 23 years so I feel I am a very capable motivator. I will listen to find out exactly what you need and do my absolute best to make sure you get it!

My specialty has always been connecting to students on an individual level. I am a very laid-back person and my instruction is as well. I prefer a very conversational format. I will not offer a "typical lesson plan" because, in my experience, there is no such thing. I cater each lesson, particularly a tutoring session, to each specific student. No two students are the same and therefore, no two tutoring sessions should be either. I have experience with students from middle school to high school.
