About Katherine
I’ve taught English as a second language for 17 years. The last six years I have been tutoring one on one. I haveworked part time for three years in an acupuncture clinic preparing students for an English test. I also taught at a fashion school (FIDM ) teaching foreign students how to write college essays with the MLA format.
Since the pandemic I have been tutoring online.

My teaching method is student directed. I adapt and prepare my lessons to what each student has requested. It is not unusual for me to spend more time preparing then the actual session with the student. I take into account the English level and the best approach to how each student is able to learn the material. I strive to make the lesson enjoyable.
