About Nomonde
I have graduated from Varsity in 2019 in a teaching qualification and I major in English and Economics. I am currently a teacher at a primary school and have been working there since 2020. I enjoy and very passionate in teaching children.

Firstly I believe in teaching in a safe, caring space where learners are free to speak their minds. I believe that a teacher’s role is to act as a guide for students, where learners engage and have access to hands on activities. Learners should be able to have choices and let their curiosity direct their learning. Teaching methods that I engage in is assessment where I measure the learners knowledge which guides me where a learner is lacking and helps me to fill the gap. I also use classroom participation to check for learner understanding, lastly I take pride in demonstrations to re-emphasise important concepts I’ve taught within the lesson.
